| Highlighting the need to review business protection during the recession |

A Wolverhampton indpendent financial advisor has joined forces with DJR Marketing Solutions to highlight the need for companies to review their business protection during the recession. Sharon Almond, an independent financial advisor who set up Sharon Almond & Associates in 2008, wanted to raise awareness with fellow Chamber members that reviewing their business protection measures including pensions, funding and insurance, may be a key strategy to help them get through the recession. Sharon approached Gail Arnold of Black Country Chamber of Commerce to discuss how she could approach members. Gail introduced her to fellow Chamber member Daniel Reilly of DJR Marketing Solutions, one of the UK's leading telemarketing companies. This introduction resulted in a 12 week telemarketing campaign targeting members within the Alliance 4 the Black Country network. "I wanted to use a professional organisation to make the initial calls", Sharone explained. "And I worked closely with the team at DJR Marketing to develop a well thought through script that had to be agreed by the Financial Services Authority to comply with regulations." Daniel Reilly of DJR Marketing said: "When undertaking any telemarketing campaign it's important to understand the product or service you are promoting and how to address any objections. The campaign proved successful and Sharon is now following up those companies who expressed an interest in reviewing their business protection measures." |
